Thursday 29/04/26: If truth be told, I do not like open studios or large groups of people.But i feel I ought to show face and overcome artist imposter syndrome.
Its a lucky position to have a studio space in a wonderful community of artists.
But.... maybe... just to clarify, I do not make art stuff to sell but make art stuff to think about the world and how we come to know the world.
Art has changed my way of seeing and being in the world. My studio is currently the longest stable relationship I've had with either a landlord or partner. Its a space I would like to spend more time in..... but have to compromise with other hierarchy of needs.
In the studio there are 5 prints framed from my residency in Rome. Made on sugar paper. Monoprints from Roman pavements or the bottom of kitchen pots. Open Studio Friday May 2026
